Kyle was outstanding. I rented his RV through RVezy for my wedding day, and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made. I wanted a comfortable, fun place for me and my groomsmen to hang out before the wedding, and Kyle completely delivered. He was enthusiastic about the idea from the beginning, very accommodating, and made me feel like he genuinely cared about helping make the day special. He drove about 1.5 hours to deliver the RV, arrived on time, communicated clearly the whole way, and even let me know when he was about an hour out. The RV was spotless, and he gave me a detailed walkthrough so I knew exactly how to use everything — audio, Bluetooth, A/C, bedrooms, propane, grill, all of it. On top of that, he went above and beyond by bringing a handmade cornhole set for us to use at no extra charge. That kind of thoughtfulness and customer service is rare. If you’re considering renting from Kyle, do it. He’s professional, reliable, generous, and clearly takes a lot of pride in giving people a great experience. I’d happily rent from him again.

Danielle and Grant were great to work with. The delivery was on time. Grant provided an overview to make sure we were good. The RV has plenty of space for our family of four and two dogs. We would recommend to either add some coffee cups and bowls, but other than that, we enjoyed the RV very much. Great overall experience, would definitely book again!

Where can I stay with my RV in Indiana? Any tips on booking campgrounds?

Indiana RV camping is easy, with fantastic spots like the Indiana Dunes State Park, Lake Monroe Village, Pokagon State Park, and Horseshoe Lakes RV Campground. Reserve in advance for summer weekends: INDNR's online system covers most state campgrounds. Some Walmarts, Cracker Barrels, and truck stops allow overnight RV parking, but always confirm with management and check local ordinances before parking. For gorgeous lake views and hiking, try Potato Creek State Park, just 40 minutes from South Bend.

When is the best time for an RV trip in Indiana?

What does it really cost to fuel an RV in Indiana?

Fueling up in Indiana is budget friendly: average gas prices tend to run under the national average (see Indiana's real-time fuel prices). Most motorhomes get 8–12 miles per gallon, while travel trailers vary based on your tow vehicle. Planning helps: factor in $0.10 to $0.25 per mile for fuel, depending on RV size and route. For a 300-mile round-trip from Indianapolis to Clifty Falls State Park, you'll spend about $70–$100 on gas. Pro tip: fill up before crossing into Illinois, where prices usually jump.

How early should I reserve campgrounds in Indiana?

To snag the best campgrounds near Indiana Dunes or Lake Monroe, book 3–6 months in advance for weekends or holidays using the Indiana Department of Natural Resources reservation system. For less crowded state parks or shoulder seasons, 2–4 weeks out is often enough. Hipcamp and ReserveAmerica cover many private campgrounds. Always review the cancellation policy for flexibility if your Indiana RV trip dates might change.

Are Indiana roads easy for RV driving? What should I watch out for?

Indiana's major highways are generally flat and RV-friendly. Expect well-maintained interstates and easy navigation, especially on I-65, I-69, and I-70. Watch for narrow county roads, low-clearance railroad crossings, and occasional construction zones, especially near Indianapolis and South Bend. Late spring can bring rain, so check live traffic conditions before you set out. If city driving makes you nervous, use hosts' delivery options to have the RV set up at your campground, ready for you.

What amenities do most Indiana campgrounds offer?

Most campgrounds in Indiana offer electric and water hookups, dump stations, fire rings, and clean bathhouses. State parks like Chain O'Lakes and Pokagon have full hookup options; Lake Monroe Village even has swimming pools and WiFi. Remember to fill your fresh water tank on arrival if boondocking. For waste disposal, all state-run RV parks have easy-access dump stations. Many private campgrounds also feature laundry and playgrounds for kids, making your stay even comfier.

What equipment and features can I expect in my motorhome rental?

Your Indiana motorhome rental will feel like a tiny home on wheels! Expect real beds, a small kitchen with stove and fridge, bathroom with shower, heating and A/C, and a working toilet. Most have a dining area, sofa, and sometimes TV or DVD player. Many RVs include built-in generators for off-grid camping, and seatbelts for every passenger. Listings clearly show if WiFi or pet-friendly options are available, so you can book exactly what fits your trip.

What add-ons are popular with Indiana RV rentals, and how do pickup and drop-off work?

In Indiana, popular RV rental add-ons include kitchen kits, linen sets, firewood delivery, and outdoor chairs for your campground stay. Some hosts offer bicycles or kayaks for local lakes. Hosts clearly outline pickup and drop-off times in their listing, and you can request delivery to your location for maximum flexibility. Mileage policies and cleaning options are also shown up-front, so there are no surprises. Book early to reserve the most popular extras for peak season!

How does payment and the security deposit work for Indiana RV rentals?

Booking your Indiana RV rental is simple and secure through RVezy's platform. Your trip total is clearly shown before you confirm, and a security deposit is collected to protect both guest and host. This deposit is fully refundable if the RV is returned in the same condition. Avoid any issues by reviewing the checkout checklist and messaging your host with questions before your journey. That way, your focus stays on the adventure, not the paperwork.
